For interested candidates we offer the possibility to be awarded a "Doctor h.c." . The abbreviation is for "honoris causa" and means honorary. A honorary Doctor award leads you to a high level reputation and status position in the public society.

A person , at least 3 times awarded a honorary doctor, can abbreviate with Dr.h.c.mult. (honoris causa multiplex).
Normally this honorary doctorate is awarded to persons for general or direct merits for the university or faculty. Sometimes this happens for political, financial or other reasons not always directly related to the institution.
The honorary doctor award is no acedemic degree, but an award for merits.There is no examination or doctoral thesis necessary. The procedure for a honorary doctor is part of the university rules for a doctorate. Centrum Litterae will look for the best university corresponding to your requests.
